Bombshell Spotlight: Michelle

  1. How long have you been attending Bombshell Bootcamp?   6 months
  2. Why did you decide to try the camp? I recently moved downtown and wanted to meet some new friends. I was walking the bayou one evening and saw the class. I instantly thought yes I want to be a part of that group. So happy I made that decision.
  3. What is your favorite workout we do at boot camp?  I really do not have a favorite. That is what is so great about it. It is such a variety that it keeps someone like me very interested and engaged. They are all killer workouts.
  4. Is there an exercise we do in class that you have a love/hate relationship with? Oh absolutely! BURPEES! God knows I hate those… Lol
  5. Have you lost weight, gotten faster or stronger and if so- can you tell us about it? It is all the above for me. I noticed pretty quickly that I was getting faster and stronger. My cardio has improved tremendously since I have started boot camp.
  6. What advice do you have for new girls starting camp?  Do not be intimidated and never give up. The first week is always a killer because it’s a challenge but like all challenges they can and will be conquered. So stay positive and stay motivated. Also remember all the other girls in the class are dying as well some are better at hiding it than others. Lol
  7. What keeps you motivated? My motto is health is wealth. I always make it a point to stay active and working out with other girls that think the same is a plus.
  8. Would you recommend Bombshell Bootcamp to a friend? How would you describe the camp to them? Absolutely would recommend. I would describe it as exactly what it is a boot camp. I would be like girls put your hair back and be ready to get your butt kicked.  It may seem like you’re dying in the beginning and the middle but towards the end you will see victory.
  9. Tell us something fun or interesting about yourself that others at the camp may not know.  Well I am the sort of girl you see what you get. I am active, adventurous and love to travel. I am also a grandma. I have my third grandchild coming in November.  YAY!
